Everybody wants this — another season of Nobody Wants This! With Season 2 officially out on Netflix, fans are already desperate for more of Kristen Bell and Adam Brody’s chaotic, chemistry-filled love story as podcaster Joanne and rabbi Noah. But will the beloved rom-com return for Season 3? Here’s what we know so far.
Will There Be a Season 3 of ‘Nobody Wants This’?
Netflix has yet to confirm whether Nobody Wants This will return for a third season. But don’t panic just yet — there’s still hope. The streamer waited nearly a month after Season 1’s premiere before renewing the series for Season 2, so a similar timeline could be in play.
The Emmy-nominated series became a surprise hit after its 2024 debut, charming audiences with its smart humor, messy romance, and heartfelt look at love, faith, and identity. After earning three Primetime Emmy nods — including Outstanding Comedy Series — fans are eager to see where Joanne and Noah’s unconventional relationship goes next.
What Has the Cast Said?
In a new interview with Parade, Kristen Bell confirmed that the creative wheels are already turning for Season 3.

“The writer’s room is working right now,” the actress shared. “You never know if you’re gonna be able to shoot because that’s way above our pay grade, and they decide what shows are gonna be shot. But the writer’s room is writing it right now. That we know.”
Her co-star Adam Brody also teased where he hopes the story will head next.
“I would like to see them move in together or get engaged relatively soon,” he told Parade. Brody added that since Noah was “so slow on the moving in together” in Season 2, he “needs to make up for it in some way.”
“I think if he could hit the gas, the pedal in another area, that would be nice,” the Emmy nominee said.

Where Did Season 2 Leave Off?
Warning: Spoilers Ahead!
Season 2 ended with Joanne and Noah’s relationship hitting yet another emotional crossroads. After breaking up mid-episode, Noah professes his love, telling Joanne, “I choose you. Every time,” to which she replies, “Well, you’re in luck.”
The finale saw the couple finally on the same page about their future — and hinting that Joanne might actually convert to Judaism after all. Meanwhile, side characters Morgan, Esther, and Sasha all faced major life shakeups of their own, from engagements to emotional breakups, leaving plenty of threads for a potential third season to pick up.
