Trisha Paytas Makes Broadway Return in ‘Beetlejuice: The Musical’: Who’s She Playing?

By James Miller 10/11/2025

Trisha Paytas is officially headed back to Broadway! The internet personality is taking on a surprising new role this fall — stepping into the cast of Beetlejuice: The Musical for a limited run at the Palace Theatre.

The influencer will appear as Maxine Dean from November 4 through November 23, joining the hit Tim Burton–inspired show during its third Broadway engagement. The production, which returned to the stage on October 8, is back in New York after a successful three-year, 88-city national tour and will run through January 3, 2026.

Trisha will temporarily take over part of the track from Sharone Sayegh, who will continue to play Juno throughout Trisha’s run and return to Maxine Dean/Juno on November 25. While Maxine Dean is a relatively minor role — she’s the wife of Maxie Dean, the Chairman of Botco Industries, who’s invited to dinner by the Deetzes — the casting is a major career moment for the longtime online star.

“Words can never express my gratitude in this very moment. How lucky am I? Beetlejuice: The Musical has been so near and dear to my heart,” Trisha wrote on Instagram after the news was announced. “Broadway and live theatre have always been my escape since a young girl. I so wanted to be a part of the stories with sequined costumes, catchy music and endings to everyone’s story perfectly wrapped in a bow. I can’t wait to play. The talent in this show is unreal (I saw them on tour last year in OC) I know how lucky I am.”

She added, “And thank you to those who have supported me throughout the years in my endeavors; I do hope I get to see a few of you at the shows. Beetlejuice the musical is so so special to me and [I’m] completely honored to get to share in the experience together. IT’S SHOWTIME!!!! 💜💚

The current cast features Justin Collette as Beetlejuice, Isabella Esler as Lydia, Will Burton as Adam, Megan McGinnis as Barbara, Jenni Barber as Delia, Jesse Sharp as Charles, Madison Mosley as Lydia at select performances, Vanessa Aurora Sierra as Miss Argentina, Patrick Oliver Jones as Otho, Travis Mitchell as Maxie Dean and Emilia Tagliani as Girl Scout.

While Paytas is best known for her unfiltered online persona and massive following — with 1.9 million Instagram followers and 10.9 million on TikTok — this isn’t her first time stepping onto a Broadway stage. Earlier this year, she made her Broadway debut with a one-night show titled Trisha Paytas’ Big Broadway Dream.
