Quinton Aaron is celebrating a major personal victory.
The Blind Side star, best known for his breakout role alongside Sandra Bullock in the 2009 hit film, revealed that he’s officially lost 200 pounds — marking a huge milestone in his ongoing health journey.
On Sunday, October 12, the 41-year-old actor took to Instagram to share the exciting news with his followers, posting two side-by-side photos to show off his incredible transformation.
“Good Morning Beautiful People! God is Good! I am overwhelmed and blessed to announce that I have reached another cool Milestone in my life,” he wrote in the caption. “Today when weighing myself, I noticed that I reached the 200 pound marker. As in, from my heaviest weight of 575lbs until this morning 375lbs I’m down 200lbs. I know right, AMAZING!!!
I have 55 more pounds to go to reach my over all goal of 320lbs… I GOT THIS!!!”

This achievement comes just a few months after Aaron revealed in July that he had dropped 150 pounds. At the time, he celebrated the progress by sharing two photos of himself in a suit, clearly proud of how far he’d come.
“I just wanna say I always look good in a suit if I might say so myself but, dammit if I don’t look #supafly rockin the #bowtie and being 150lbs lighter in this picture than the one on the left,” he captioned the post.
Aaron’s weight loss journey has been years in the making. In February 2022, he opened up to TMZ about how his weight had ballooned during the COVID-19 pandemic due to binge-eating. Determined to turn things around, he committed to a new lifestyle — changing his diet and hitting the gym regularly.

By September, in an interview with the “Recovery Vow” podcast, Aaron candidly discussed his struggles with food. “Food was my drug,” he admitted. “I was eating when I wasn’t even hungry. Just going out and buying food and sitting in my car in the parking lot, eating it and crying and not knowing why. I’m like, ‘Why do I feel this way?’”
Beyond his personal transformation, Aaron has used his platform to advocate for others. In 2012, two years after The Blind Side, he launched The Quinton Aaron Foundation, which focuses on anti-bullying efforts and childhood obesity awareness.

“There’s a lot of kids that get picked on because of their outer appearance and not everyone has had the luxury of growing up knowing the right foods to eat or knowing what a healthier lifestyle is,” he told ABC News at the time.
