The 25-year-old welcomed her daughter, Gianna Capri Wilson, with her husband, Arizona Cardinals wide receiver Michael Wilson earlier this month.
In an Instagram post on Sunday, Wilson, née Smith, shared a gallery of intimate photos and video from the couple’s first weeks with their child. In the first black and white photo, the Portland Thorns FC forward can be seen swaddling her daughter from her hospital bed.
Subsequent frames show close-up photos and video of the baby girl, who they’ve nicknamed Gigi, in addition to a few photos of the mother and father kissing and embracing their bundle of joy. The final photo is a mirror selfie taken from the couple’s bedroom. “All the little details I never want to forget,” she captioned the post, along with a face holding back tears emoji and orange heart emoji.
