Elvis had been a longtime companion to Osbourne and often appeared in photos and videos on her social media, becoming a fan favorite among her followers.

Sharon’s daughter, Kelly Osbourne also shared the news to her Instagram.

“It is with a heavy heart that I let you all know that we lost Elvis this week. Our guardian angel has left us. Elvis did not leave my side since my dad passed. He helped get me through the darkest moment of my life. I keep trying to find a positive in all of this and the only thing I can come up with is that maybe my dad needed him.”

Elvis’ passing comes just months after Sharon’s husband, Ozzy Osbourne, died in July at the age of 76 following a heart attack. In September, Sharon returned to social media and opened up about how she’s been coping with the loss, revealing a new hobby that has helped her heal.

“Though I’m still finding my footing, I wanted to share some glorious creatures I had the chance to spend an afternoon with,” the former talk show host wrote at the time.

“The connection you make with these powerful birds is built entirely on trust and confidence. They’ll choose to perch on you only if they sense you are safe and unafraid of them. It’s a bond I know all too well, and the experience was nothing short of magical.”
