A relationship has likely come to an end after a woman in Toledo, Ohio, was accused of breaking into her boyfriend’s house and cutting his scrotum open in a bizarre attack.

Toledo police wrote up a warrant for the arrest of Jeanita Hopings on charges of felonious assault and aggravated burglary in connection with the incident, according to the warrant viewed by People.

The warrants state that Hopings, 45, allegedly “forcefully kicked open the front door” of her boyfriend’s home on Tuesday, October 7. Police went on to claim that Hopings entered the home without her boyfriend’s permission.

Once she made it inside of the property, police said that Hopings cut the victim’s testicle sac with an “unknown instrument.”

While speaking to investigators, the victim – who has not been publicly named – said that he heard someone break into his home and he ran downstairs to see who it was, according to WTVG. The victim also noted that he was not wearing any clothes at the time of the assault, making it easy for Hopings to cut his testicles.

Following the assault, the boyfriend was taken to the hospital for treatment.

“Victim’s testicle was clearly exposed as the result of the laceration,” the warrant stated, per People.

The motive behind Hopings’ attack is not currently clear, while not much is known about her relationship with the boyfriend.

Additionally, the incident marks the first time Hopings has been charged with a felony. However, she has been charged with several traffic-related misdemeanors over the years, per Lucas County court records.

Further updates about the case are expected to be shared by officials at a later date.
