“Imagine making a role that iconic. I know some actors hate to be tied to one role their whole careers but this one is just so special,” another commenter added.

This special moment comes just one month after the 10 year anniversary of the official opening of the show on Broadway.

“I feel so lucky and privileged to have the opportunity to dip back into this thing that at first just meant a lot to me, but now has come to mean a lot to so many people,” Odom, Jr. shared with Vogue ahead of his return.

One aspect of his return to the show that Odom, Jr. is particularly excited about is his children being able to see him in the show live for the very first time.

“My daughter, who’s eight, is just starting to form her own opinion about the show and my involvement, and I think it’s a positive one so far. My son, he’s four, so I don’t think he’s locked in, but I had this wild realization, thinking about the decade and the fact that, yeah, my daughter and my son were not here 10 years ago,” Odom, Jr. also shared with Vogue.

Odom, Jr. will continue in his role as Aaron Burr now through November 26, 2025 with tickets available at hamiltonmusical.com.
