Kate Gosselin is asking fans for prayers after sharing a startling glimpse of her hospitalization on social media.
The 50-year-old reality star posted to TikTok early Tuesday, September 30, a photo of herself in a hospital bed, showing an IV in her arm and a pulse oximeter on her finger. The dimly lit room set the scene for her heartfelt message. “Please pray for me tonight and tomorrow,” Gosselin wrote. “I will be fine, but I’m scared and would appreciate your prayers! Thanks, guys.”
In the caption, she urged fans not to worry, adding, “Emergencies don’t care about schedules! Please DONT worry about me! Please pray [instead]!” Gosselin promised to provide a “story time” update when she was able, ending her post with, “Love you guys! I’ll be back as soon as I can! 
” The post was paired with inspirational audio about surviving tough times with grace.
Fans quickly responded with an outpouring of support. “You are a strong woman who can do hard things! Praying to Jesus for your comfort and healing. 
,” one commenter wrote, to which Gosselin replied, “Thank you Kel! I had to call upon that strength that I know I have deep down tonight! And I appreciate your prayers!”

Gosselin first rose to fame as a mom to twins Mady and Cara, 24, and sextuplets Alexis, Hannah, Collin, Aaden, Leah and Joel, 21, with ex-husband Jon Gosselin. The Pennsylvania-based family became a household name after starring in Discovery Health specials Surviving Sextuplets and Twins and Sextuplets and Twins: One Year Later, before launching their own series, Jon & Kate Plus 8, in 2007. The show later became Kate Plus 8 after Kate and Jon’s 2009 divorce, chronicling her life as a single mother until 2017.
While Gosselin had mostly stayed off social media in recent years, she reignited her online presence this summer, sharing glimpses of her life as an empty nester and German Shepherd dog mom via TikTok — quickly gaining followers and renewed interest in her family.
Kate also made headlines on September 22 when she revealed she’s been in a relationship for over a year. “I am dating somebody for the past year to a little over a year, maybe like 14, 15 months,” she said. “I am super, super happy. It’s somebody that I’ve known for a really long time and I am very, very happy.”
