Inside Michael Strahan’s Daughter Isabella’s Battle With Brain Cancer
The 20-year-old daughter of former NFL star Michael Strahan and Jean Muggli often shares her life as a college student online, posting fun dancing videos and vlogs featuring her twin sister Sophia and her friends at USC. However, this recent post offered a more reflective glimpse into her life and experience with her illness.
Strahan’s battle with cancer was an extensive and challenging one. She first needed to have emergency brain surgery to remove the cancerous tumor. Strahan then went through six weeks of radiation therapy, followed by four rounds of chemotherapy.
Then in a July 14, 2024 Instagram post, Strahan finally announced she was cancer free, saying, “After the wildest 8 months, I finally got to ring the bell. Grateful for my journey.”
Strahan was very open about her experience throughout her treatment and recovery, posting YouTube vlogs about her treatments and even later releasing an ABC special about her journey titled Life Interrupted: Isabella Strahan’s Fight Against Cancer.
