Is Aimee Lou Wood Dating Adam Long?
It sure looks like it. Wood, 31, and Adam Long, 34, appeared extra cozy while sitting together at the Primetime Emmy Awards on Sunday, September 14. The two were spotted snuggling up in the audience at the 77th annual ceremony inside the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, where Aimee was nominated for Outstanding Supporting Actress in a Drama Series for her role as Chelsea.
For the occasion, Aimee wore a pink dress with a striking red accent, while Adam opted for a classic black tux. The couple didn’t walk the red carpet together, but their affectionate body language inside the theater spoke volumes.
This isn’t the first hint that something romantic might be brewing. Back in June 2025, reports swirled that Aimee had a new love in her life. By July, she seemed to confirm the speculation when she shared a photo of a night out with Long on her Instagram Stories. The two are set to appear in the upcoming romantic dramedy called Film Club, which is expected to premiere later this year on BBC.
Who Is Adam Long?
Long, 34, has built a solid résumé in British television and film. He’s best known for his role as convict Lewis Whippey on the beloved detective series Happy Valley, and his other credits include Spike Island, Bancroft, Dunkirk, The Thirteenth Tale, Vera, The Kill Team, Masters of the Air, Nine Bodies in a Mexican Morgue, and Day of the Jackal.

Who Has Aimee Lou Wood Dated?
Before Adam, Aimee dated her Sex Education co-star Connor Swindells. The former couple split amicably after a few years together. She told Grazia, “We’d had some time apart and then we realized that maybe the relationship wasn’t serving us both. We still really love each other and respect each other. It was an okay breakup, it wasn’t dramatic. I felt like a dam burst, then all of a sudden I was hurting, but I needed to be there, because I’d become a bit numb and it was nice to suddenly feel everything again.”
