After nearly two years together, Ashley Park and Paul Forman have officially called it quits.

The pair of actors star alongside each other in the hit Netflix series Emily in Paris. In the show, Ashley Park plays Mindy Chen, main character Emily Cooper’s best friend, while Paul Forman plays Nicolas de Léon, the handsome heir to a luxury goods company who becomes Chen’s love interest.

Fiction seemed to be blending with reality when the pair was first rumored to have taken their romance off-screen in October 2023 after they were spotted holding hands at dinner. However, the couple did not confirm their relationship until January of 2024 when Park noted in a Instagram post that Forman had been by her side nonstop during a series of medical issues.

While the two were confirmed to have spent time together while filming season 5 of Emily in Paris over the summer, sources have now confirmed the two actors have gone their separate ways.

The rumors of their breakup began to swirl when Park was seen at Selena Gomez and Benny Blanco‘s wedding on September 27 without Forman as her date. Park instead spent the wedding hanging out with with her girl squad, consisting of model Cara Delevingne, actress Nina Dobrev and makeup artist Jenna Nicole.

On September 29, Park took to Instagram to post a solo shot of her at the wedding with the song “Bluest Flame” by Gomez and Blanco as the in-post song.

Then, on October 1, TMZ broke the news that they had confirmation the couple had split. The outlet’s sources revealed that the relationship ended sometime within the past month and that so far it is unclear what caused the split, or who initiated it, but they can confirm the pair are no longer together.

Outside of filming the new season of Emily in Paris, the pair have not been seen together publicly since earlier this spring. However, their most recent interaction online seems to have been on an August 17 post where Forman shared photographs from his feature in Esquire magazine. Park commented “Can I get every one framed please?” on the post, followed by the heart eyes emoji, and Forman liked the comment.

While Forman did share a carousel of images on August 30 from his time spent filming season 5 that featured Park in one of the photos, she did not comment on or acknowledge the post.

While the pair may have split up in real life, they are both confirmed to be in season 5 of Emily in Paris, which will be released on Netflix on December 18.
