On Wednesday, September 25, the “Umbrella” singer took to Instagram to share that she has welcomed her third child. Alongside a photo of herself holding the baby and another featuring a tiny pair of pink boxing gloves, she captioned the post, “Rocki Irish Mayers, Sept 13 2025

Upon hearing the celebratory news, celebrities quickly flocked to the 37-year-old’s Instagram page. Her partner, A$AP Rocky wrote, “MY LIL LADIES 
.” Grey’s Anatomy star Ellen Pompeo gushed, writing, “She’s soooo pretty!!! Ahhhhhh

Rihanna and the 36-year-old rapper have been vocal about wanting to have a baby girl. In a recent interview with Elle, Rocky said, “I hope it’s a girl,” Rocky said. “I really do. We’re praying for a girl. I feel like it’s going to be a girl. This pregnancy is so different from the other two—you can tell from the experience. I hope it’s a baby girl, man. I need that.”

In a 2024 conversation with Interview, Rihanna also mentioned her hope for having a girl. “I don’t know what God wants, but I would go for more than two,” she said. “I would try for my girl. But of course if it’s another boy, it’s another boy.”
The “Diamonds” singer also gushed over her partner Rocky, telling the publication, “When someone sees you completely, and believes in you, and thinks you’re worthy of being the mother of their kids, it’s a great feeling. I felt the same about him. I knew he would be a great dad.”
