We’re counting down the days until OR3!
Olivia Rodrigo’s Guts era may be over, but fans may not have to wait long for the next chapter. The pop star confirmed the end of the Guts era during her American Express special performance on October 23, 2025, sending fans into a frenzy about what’s next.
OR3, the still-untitled follow-up to 2021’s Sour and 2023’s Guts, has been teasing fans for months. Speaking to Vogue in November 2024, Rodrigo reflected on her transformation ahead of the new era. “It’s time for new beginnings,” she said, noting that a simple haircut made her feel “like a brand new girl.” Beyond the new look, she promised fresh music — and it might arrive sooner than we think.
When Did the OR3 Teasers Begin?
Fans first caught wind of OR3 during Rodrigo’s appearance at the Osheaga Festival in Montreal on August 3, 2025, the last stop of the Guts tour. There, she wore a red shirt emblazoned with a rhinestone number 3, sparking speculation about the new era.
Taylor Swift Seemingly Hints at ‘Reputation (TV)’ on ‘Handmaid’s Tale’
“rings off!!!!! that’s a wrap on Guts tour!!! until next time I love y’all

,” Rodrigo wrote on Instagram, posting a video of herself giving fans her silver “GUTS” rings — a symbolic farewell to the era.
The hints didn’t stop there. On August 11, Rodrigo sent a fan newsletter reflecting on the tour, writing, “the end of the Guts era feels bittersweet, but I’m sooooo excited for all that’s y3t to come!!!!” By her American Express special, she confirmed in fan-captured videos: “This is definitely going to be the last Guts show,” adding that she “can’t wait to get back on the road one of these days.”
What Will Be the Album of OR3 Title Be?

The album title is still a mystery, though Rodrigo has been thinking about it. In an October 2025 interview with Harper’s Bazaar, she said, “I had the title of Guts and Sour at the beginning of the album-making process, but for this album, I’m kind of still finding it right now. I have a few options that are twirling around in my brain. I have one that I’m feeling good about, and I think that’ll be the title, but I am not 100 percent positive yet. I’m not writing it in stone quite yet.”
She added, “It has to feel right in your body. I have to sleep on it a few nights before I really decide that that’s the one.” Fans speculate it could follow her previous pattern of four-letter words, with contenders like Kiss, Lady, Dusk, Star, Dare, and Luck. Many point to Luck, given Rodrigo’s recent use of “lucky” symbols on social media, including ladybugs and polka dots.
