Vera Wang has some thoughts on what pop superstar Taylor Swift might wear on her wedding day and it sounds like it’ll be nothing short of iconic.
In an interview with E! News at The DKMS 19th Annual Gala on Oct. 14, the iconic fashion designer shared her excitement over Swift’s engagement, saying, “I kind of had a feeling that was going to happen. I’m so happy for her,” referencing the singer’s engagement back in August.
When it comes to what the bride-to-be might wear, the 76-year-old suggested that she didn’t think Swift would be sticking to just one look. “I don’t think there will be just one [dress]. That would be my guess,” she told the interviewer.
Known for creating some of the most memorable celebrity bridal gowns of all time — including those worn by Ariana Grande, Victoria Beckham, and Kim Kardashian, Vera’s prediction carries some serious weight.
After all, if anyone knows how to craft a headline-making wedding moment, it’s her.

At the same event, fellow designer Christian Siriano, 39, shared his own take on what Swift might choose for her big day.
“Taylor, I think, will be in lace of some sort,” he said, envisioning something timeless, romantic, and perfectly in line with Swift’s classic-meets-fairytale aesthetic.
Swift has been open about her approach to wedding planning and has revealed that she and Kelce aren’t rushing their wedding timeline. During an appearance on The Graham Norton Show, she explained, “I want to do the album stuff first, and the wedding is what happens after in terms of planning. I think it will be fun to plan.”
The Love Story singer also shared her thoughts on whether she envisions an intimate affair or a larger-than-life celebration. “I know it’s gonna be fun to plan because I think the only stressful weddings are the ones where you have a small amount and people are on the bubble,” she said.
