The Bachelor alum Daisy Kent has found love with Thor Herbst, announcing their engagement after more than one year of dating.

“Love you forever,” Kent, 27, wrote via Instagram on Monday, October 20, alongside several snapshots from their engagement photoshoot taken during a trip to Tuscany, Italy.

One photo captured the couple admiring her engagement ring as they sat in the grass, while another snapshot saw Herbst down on one knee as he asked Kent to marry him.

Shortly after Kent shared the photos, several fans took to the comments section to congratulate the couple. “Awe!!! Congratulations!!! So beyond happy and excited for y’all!!! This is one of the most precious proposals ever,” one person commented, and another chimed in, “Congrats you found your forever after the bachelor. so happy for you.”

Fans first got to know Kent when she competed on season 28 of The Bachelor, where she pursued a relationship with Joey Graziadei. Kent made it to the final two and memorably broke up with Graziadei, 30, before he proposed to his fiancée, Kelsey Anderson.

Following her time on The Bachelor, Kent reconnected with Herbst in 2024 after they initially dated when they were students at San Diego State University.

“It wasn’t until after the show that we decided to try to give it a go,” Kent explained of how she and Herbst decided to start dating again during a May 2024 episode of the “Scrubbing In” podcast. “And we’re giving it a go and it’s going good.”

The couple took a major step in their relationship when Kent revealed they officially moved in together in March. She took to TikTok on March 2 to explain that she officially moved into Herbst’s house in Las Vegas.

“Me and Thor are now roommates. We’ll see how that goes,” she said at the time. “We have just moved in [and] we’re, like, still moving in,” Kent explained of Herbst’s residence in Las Vegas. “We did a road trip with a bunch of my stuff from L.A. and then I flew up a couple days ago, brought a bunch more stuff and then doing another road trip on like Monday or Tuesday, where I’m going to bring a lot more of my stuff.”

More recently, Kent admitted that they had a few learning curves when they started living together. “Honestly, I’m probably the one who has more nasty habits,” she jokingly told People in September. “I’m messy, but I’m clean. Do you know what I mean?”

Despite having to get used to each other’s cleaning habits, Kent insisted that living together had been going great. “I think he’s just somebody, he’s so kind and caring towards everyone, and there’s not anything that he wouldn’t do for other people,” she gushed about Herbst.
