Bethenny Frankel Reacts to Kim Kardashian’s New Hairy Underwear

By Mike Rodriguez 10/17/2025

Bethenny Frankel is weighing in on Kim Kardashian’s latest Skims launch — and she’s not holding back.

The reality star and entrepreneur shared her thoughts on Kardashian’s new $32 “Faux Hair Panty,” which dropped on October 15.

Each panty comes in multiple textures and color shades and is promoted with the cheeky tagline, “With our daring new Faux Hair Panty, your carpet can be whatever color you want it to be.”

Unsurprisingly, the risqué release has sparked plenty of buzz and a few raised eyebrows, including Frankel’s.

“The Skims bush underwear are taking me back to the Gwyneth Paltrow Goop candle, ‘This candle smells like my vagina,’” Frankel said in her Instagram post.

“That candle, on its worst day, did not smell like Gwyneth Paltrow’s vagina on its best day. I stand by that.”

She continued, “I just don’t actually understand it. Whose bush was it modeled after? And can’t we just grow bushes now?”

Frankel didn’t stop there, adding with a laugh, “I think maybe she should’ve done, ‘These underwear smell like my bush.’ Maybe that would’ve taken it to the next level. I would understand it. But it just shows that in marketing, anything goes.”

Finally, Frankel drew a comparison to another rival celebrity campaign, “Everyone’s mad at Sydney Sweeney for being pretty and selling jeans,” she said, referencing the actress’s American Eagle ads. “But it’s okay to just sell the bush. We’re in the upside down.”

Comments have been flooding in, agreeing with the 54-year-old on how absurd the product is. One person joked, “Welp, there goes my midday cucumber snacks. I can’t look at a Persian cucumber the same way now.”

Another chimed in, “I’ll grow my own if I need one. I’m dying that they’re already sold out!”

A third fan commented on how hilarious Frankel is writing, “Bethenny is new Joanne Rivers! Love her!”.

Kardashian’s company, Skims, has sparked controversy before — most notably in 2023, when it launched bras with built-in nipples.

Now we all are left to wonder, what on earth will come next from Skims?
