It’s been a big year for Dibs founder Courtney Shields. After getting engaged to her longtime boyfriend Austin Sutor in March and tying the knot on September 7, the couple are expecting their first child together.
Shields and Sutor revealed the big news in a joint Instagram post on Wednesday, October 15. In the short video clip, set to Justin Bieber’s new song “Everything Hallelujah,” the couple can be seen holding hands and showing off sonogram pictures as well as a positive pregnancy test.
For his part, Sutor can be seen kissing his bride’s growing bump, and at one point popping a bottle of champagne.

This must be a full circle moment for the makeup influencer. In 2020, she announced in a joint video that she and her ex-husband, Alex Albright, were divorcing after six years of marriage. The couple share one daughter together, Kinsley Shields Albright, 8, who was born in September 2017.
In November 2021, Shields told Austin Woman that Kinsley was with her throughout the Dibs product creation process and even sat beside her during meetings from home and swatched products on the back of her hands.
“I never worry about her actually applying the products on her skin, which, as a mom, is one of the reasons it was really important to me to create a clean brand,” she told the publication. “I wanted a brand where your kids could do that if they wanted to, and it wasn’t gonna freak you out.”
Shields founded Dibs in 2021 alongside entrepreneur and investor Dan Reich, Bobbi Brown Cosmetics co-founder Kan Landis, and former ARod Corp COO Jeff Lee. The company stands for Desert Island Beauty Status and focuses on easy beauty essentials that “simplify, adapt, and make the most of your precious time.”

“I’ve gotten messages from people who are makeup artists and experienced makeup users that love it,” the 38-year-old explained. “Then I’ve gotten feedback from women who are like, ‘I had five minutes to get ready this morning. I don’t usually wear makeup, and this made me feel pretty. I love [that] it took me two seconds.’ The fact that we accomplished the goal that we set out to accomplish has been cool.”
For his part, Sutor is also the budding entrepreneur. After previously serving as creative director for Shannon Sharpe‘s clothing brand EIGHTYFOUR, he founded the luxury lifestyle brand House of Dreamr in 2023.
