It’s time to get back on the field — and back in love. Sidelined 2: Intercepted, the highly anticipated sequel to the YA Tubi Original Sidelined: The QB and Me, starring Noah Beck and Siena Agudong, is almost here, and fans can get ready for another touchdown of teenage romance.
Here’s everything we know about the sequel.
What’s It About?
Like the first film, Sidelined 2: Intercepted is based on Tay Marley’s Wattpad hit The QB Bad Boy and Me. According to Tubi’s synopsis, the sequel follows freshman star quarterback Drayton (Beck) “as he struggles with the weight of expectations after a devastating setback.” Meanwhile, Dallas (Agudong) is chasing her dream of becoming a dancer but begins to “question the future she thought she wanted.”
“As their high school relationship begins to unravel under the pressures of distance and self-discovery, they’ll learn that the bravest versions of themselves emerge when they let life redirect them,” the synopsis adds — setting the stage for a heartfelt mix of romance, self-discovery, and plenty of on-field drama.
The first movie introduced fans to Dallas Bryan, a small-town cheerleader passionate about dance and determined to land a scholarship at CalArts. Everything changes when Drayton Lahey, the star quarterback, crashes into her life — and sparks fly.
