Actress and singer Hailee Steinfeld is sharing new details about how her marriage to NFL player Josh Allen has changed her perspective on her life and career.
The couple tied the knot back in May of 2025 in an elegant ceremony on a Santa Barbara ranch, surrounded by family and friends.
The pair had first been spotted together on a date in New York City almost exactly two years prior, in May of 2023.
Now, Steinfeld is opening up about how she and Allen balance both of their demanding careers together as a married couple, particularly as Allen is in his first NFL season since their nuptials.

“What we do is so unpredictable, and his job is on such a strict schedule,” Steinfeld shared in an October 3 interview with Variety. “So it’s actually a blessing — I try to organize my time so I can be where he is. This time of year, I get to hunker down, slow down, support him and live life. When the offseason rolls around, it’s go-time for me.”
For Steinfeld, this is a big change from her previous pace of always being on the go, working on new acting or musical projects nearly nonstop throughout her career.
“I’ve never lived this part of life before — outside of my work,” she continued to share with Variety. “I’ve gotten a lot better at understanding what it means to slow down and to share that with someone. That’s the greatest thing ever.”
Allen seemed share Steinfeld’s sentiment that their marriage has had a positive effect on all aspects of his life.

“She makes everything easier, so I don’t really focus on the other stuff,” he shared in a June 10 NFL press conference. “That was the most important decision I’ll make in my life, and I made the right one.”
On June 17, the couple each shared a different image of a pile of Polaroid photos on their Instagram pages, with Steinfeld sharing the ones from the wedding and Allen sharing the ones from their honeymoon giving fans a little glimpse into their happy married life together.
