‘Dancing With the Stars’ Week 3: Breaking Down All the TikTok Night References

By Andrew Jackson 10/01/2025

Week 3 of Dancing With the Stars was all about TikTok — from viral dances to trending songs, the ballroom turned into a social media playground. Each of the 12 remaining couples took on routines inspired by the app’s biggest hits, bringing internet culture straight to primetime TV. And while the night delivered plenty of fun moments, it also ended with a surprising elimination that left fans buzzing.

After last week’s double elimination of Corey Feldman with Jenna Johnson and Baron Davis with Britt Stewart, the stars left to compete included Hilaria Baldwin, Danielle Fishel, Alix Earle, Andy Richter, Elaine Hendrix, Jordan Chiles, Dylan Efron, Scott Hoying, Robert Irwin, Lauren Jauregui, Jen Affleck and Whitney Leavitt. By the end of TikTok Night, however, Jauregui and Brandon Armstrong were voted off — a result that shocked both the audience and the contestants.

Here’s a breakdown of all the TikTok-inspired performances from Week 3:

Jen Affleck and Jan Ravnik

The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star paid homage to her own viral moment, performing a cha cha to Carl Carlton’s “She’s a Bad Mama Jama (She’s Built, She’s Stacked).” Affleck even started the dance in a hospital gown, referencing the video of her dancing to the song just after giving birth, before switching into a show-stopping costume.

Who Are the ‘Dancing With the Stars’ Pros Dating?

Hilaria Baldwin and Gleb Savchenko

The author and wife of Alec Baldwin shook things up with a samba to “Shake It To The Max (FLY) [Remix]” by MOLIY, Silent Addy, Skillibeng & Shenseea. The track’s TikTok fame largely comes from creators @davyandmelo — and even BTS’s J-Hope joined the viral challenge.

Alix Earle and Val Chmerkovskiy

TikTok star Alix Earle leaned into her roots with a quickstep to “Pop Muzik” by M/Robin Scott. The song’s viral dance, choreographed by Molly Long, became a major TikTok trend earlier this year — and Long even stopped by rehearsals to help them nail the routine.

Dylan Efron and Daniella Karagach

Efron and Karagach danced a foxtrot to Justin Bieber’s “YUKON,” a track from his surprise 2025 albums SWAG and SWAG II, both of which blew up on TikTok.

Jordan Chiles and Ezra Sosa

The Olympic gymnast performed a fierce tango to Doechii’s “Anxiety,” which went viral on TikTok before its official release. The track samples Gotye’s “Somebody That I Used to Know,” adding to the drama of their routine.

Danielle Fishel and Pasha Pashkov

The Boy Meets World alum danced a foxtrot to Sabrina Carpenter’s viral hit “Manchild.” The coolest detail? Fishel personally got Carpenter’s blessing, since they previously worked together on Girl Meets World.

Elaine Hendrix and Alan Bersten

The Parent Trap actress embraced TikTok chaos with a tango to KATSEYE’s “Gnarly.” The global girl group has been dominating the platform all year with the polarizing track.

Scott Hoying and Rylee Arnold

Pentatonix singer Scott Hoying took on Jennie’s viral solo track “Like Jennie” from her 2025 album Ruby for a smooth jazz routine.

Robert Irwin and Witney Carson

The wildlife conservationist brought major energy with a salsa to Tommy Richman’s “Million Dollar Baby,” a song made famous thanks to TikToker @curvejso’s viral dance.

Lauren Jauregui and Brandon Armstrong

The Fifth Harmony singer performed a cha cha to her group’s hit “Work From Home” — complete with the construction outfit nod from the original music video. The crowd loved it, but sadly, it wasn’t enough to keep her in the competition.

Whitney Leavitt and Mark Ballas

Leavitt, another Secret Lives of Mormon Wives star, went with Mystikal’s “Shake Ya Ass (Radio Edit)” for her samba, a track that had a TikTok resurgence this summer.

Andy Richter and Emma Slater

The comedian closed the night with a foxtrot to Noah Kahan and Hozier’s emotional collab “Northern Attitude,” which dominated TikTok after its 2023 release.
