It seems like Kieran Culkin finally got his wish. Over the weekend, the 42-year-old actor and his wife of over a decade, Jazz Charton, revealed that they are expecting baby No. 3.
The couple subtly announced the news while attending the premiere of the Broadway production of Waiting for Godot, starring Keanu Reeves and Alex Winter, on Sunday, Sept. 28.
While walking the red carpet, Charton wore a body-hugging beige knit dress that showed off her prominent bump. Culkin, casually dressed in a black and grey striped sweater and black pants, was photographed proudly resting his hand on his wife’s stomach.
It seems like they’re well on their way to Culkin’s goal of being a family of six.
The Succession star first revealed his desire for an expanded family during his Emmys speech for winning Lead Actor in a Drama Series in January 2024.
“My beautiful wife, Jazz, thank you for sharing your life with me, and for giving me two amazing kids, Sioux and Wilder Wolf,” Culkin said from onstage. “I love you so many and so much. And Jazz, I want more. You said maybe, if I win.”

A year and some change later, Culkin doubled down on his request while accepting the Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor in March 2025.
“About a year ago, I was on a stage like this and I very stupidly, publicly said that I wanted a third kid from her because she said if I won the award, she would give me the kid,” he told the audience. “Turns out she said that because she didn’t think I was going to win.”
Culkin said the attention was “annoying” to his wife, but after the show she suddenly remembered the conversation.
“I think we’re walking through a parking lot, she’s holding the Emmy, we’re trying to find our car, and she goes, ‘Oh god, I did say that, I guess I owe you a third kid.’ And I turned to her and I said, ‘I really want four,’” he recalled. “And she turned to me, I swear to god that this happened, and she said, ‘I will give you four when you win an Oscar.’ I held my hand out. She shook it, and I have not brought it up once until just now. You remember that, honey? You do?”

Culkin added, “Then I just have this to say to you, Jazz, love of my life, yee of little faith. No pressure. I love you. I’m really sorry I did this again. And let’s get cracking on those kids. What do you say?”
Well, it would appear that she did indeed say yes.
