Finneas is officially off the market!
The Grammy-winning producer — best known for his chart-topping collaborations with sister Billie Eilish — is engaged to longtime girlfriend Claudia Sulewski after seven years of dating. The couple announced the happy news in a joint Instagram post on September 24, sharing an intimate glimpse into their romantic proposal.
The pair, who first met on a dating app in 2018, documented the milestone moment with a carousel of photos and videos. Among the highlights: a helicopter ride to a breathtaking hilltop destination, a clip of Finneas dropping to one knee, and a sweet selfie of the lovebirds celebrating afterward. Claudia couldn’t hide her joy, flashing her cushion-cut diamond ring as she covered a giggle.
In her caption, the 29-year-old YouTuber revealed the engagement had taken place just two days earlier. “Forever and ever 9.22,” she wrote, hinting at the significance of the date. It turns out September 22 already held a special place in their hearts. Three years earlier, Finneas, now 28, had marked the same day with a touching anniversary tribute to Claudia.

“You’d have to scour the globe to try to find someone equally as talented, creative and hard working as you are, my love,” he wrote on Instagram in 2022. “Then you’d have to do it a second time to try to find someone as kind, thoughtful and generous. A third time to find someone as funny, a fourth to find someone as loving, a fifth to find someone as beautiful. How you manage to be every one of these things all at once, will forever be the impossibility of you.”
The heartfelt post even prompted Claudia to comment, “Your vows are going to destroy me.”

Finneas has long been inspired by his fiancée, both in life and in music. In fact, just hours after meeting Claudia, he wrote the song “Claudia” and sent her parts of it that same night. Lyrics like, “I think you’re gonna change my plans / With those emerald eyes” left little doubt he already felt she was someone special.
Their creative partnership has only grown since. In 2022, Claudia directed and starred in the intimate Paris-set music video for Finneas’ track “Mona Lisa, Mona Lisa.” Speaking to Vogue, she admitted, “It’s a gushy video, for sure! We’re pretty deep in it at this point — we’ve been dating for almost four years, so I think the cat’s out of the bag.”
