Fall has officially arrived, which means it’s time to trade in your popsicles for baking pans and cozy comfort foods.
From a warm, hearty fall-inspired soup to a creative twist on the classic pumpkin spice latte, Martha Stewart has you covered with recipes that are perfect for the festive season.
Apple Crisp
As the leaves turn and the air gets crisp, Stewart took to Instagram to share a few of her favorite fall treats. First up, she posted a photo of a mouthwatering apple crisp, writing, “Apple crisp is one of the defining desserts of fall. It’s an easy, delicious way to end any meal.”
Food Influencer Emily Mariko Shares Recipe for Son’s Favorite Homemade Snack
“Baking an apple crisp is much simpler than making an apple pie—all you need to do is scatter the topping over the fruit in the baking dish and pop it in the oven,” the 84-year-old explained. “Let the crisp cool for a few minutes before serving. A scoop of vanilla, cinnamon, or caramel ice cream on top of each portion is the perfect finishing touch.”
Pumpkin Spice Latte Cake
And if you’re a pumpkin spice latte lover, this next recipe is a must-try. Stewart shared a pumpkin spice latte cake, saying: “Why let pumpkin spice lattes get all the attention when you can enjoy it in cake form? We’ve turned the ubiquitous fall drink into a rich, gingerbread-like cake, complete with a jolt of espresso powder both in the batter and dusted on top.”
It’s the kind of cozy dessert that feels made for sharing with friends by the fire—or savoring as a sweet evening treat all to yourself.
Roasted Pumpkin Soup
And if sweets aren’t your thing, Martha has you covered there too. For those chilly fall days when you just want something cozy and nourishing, she shared her very own roasted pumpkin soup.

“Our roasted pumpkin soup is wonderfully comforting, delicious, and healthy. And while it tastes creamy and smooth, it’s dairy-free and vegan, owing its silky texture to the pureed roasted pumpkin,” Stewart explained. “It’s truly amazing that just a few ingredients can produce such a satisfying soup—and one that tastes like fall in a bowl.”
Apple Cider Cake
Last but not least, Stewart shared with her followers a fall classic that can’t be beat. I mean, you simply can’t go wrong with anything apple cider flavored, right?
“If you love the apple-cider donuts often sold at farmers’ markets, you’ll love this cake. Baked in a Bundt pan, it’s essentially a giant, cakey donut, made a little more wholesome with whole-wheat flour. A blend of olive oil and applesauce helps keep it moist and makes it our favorite fall dessert,” Stewart wrote.
